Sparta Prague closed the Champions Hockey League regular season with a 4–0 home victory over Grenoble, securing a comfortable place in the Round of 16. Czech Champions Kometa Brno also progressed to the playoffs following an away win in Switzerland.
Sparta Prague (4) completed the CHL regular season with a convincing 4–0 home win against French champions Grenoble. Already qualified for the Round of 16, Prague delivered a confident performance, while Grenoble had to await other results to see if they would advance. Czech champions Kometa Brno (8) also secured a playoff spot after a 4–3 away victory in Zug (SUI). For Mountfield HK (17), this year’s CHL campaign ended with a 3–2 overtime defeat in Lausanne.
With the final whistle, the stage is now set for the knockout rounds. The top 16 teams have been seeded according to their overall ranking and, as usual, slotted into the playoff bracket in match-ups of 1 vs. 16, 2 vs. 15, and so on.

Typically, the lower-seeded teams host the first leg, depending on arena availability and TV broadcasts. The full schedule for the Round of 16, including kick-off times, will be published in the coming days. All details will be available on the official CHL website once finalised.
The CHL playoffs begin on 11 and 12 November. The first three playoff rounds are played over two legs, with the season concluding with the final on 3 March 2026.
