    Prague Airport: Winter 2025/2026 Flight Schedule Starts Today – 127 Destinations and New Direct Connections Await

    At Václav Havel Airport Prague, the new Winter 2025/2026 flight schedule starts today. Travellers can look forward to 127 destinations worldwide, 15 new destinations and 12 new airlines.

    The new winter schedule, valid from today, 26 October 2025, until 28 March 2026, covers 127 destinations worldwide, including 15 new destinations and 12 new airlines. Seat capacity is increasing by over 12 % compared with last year. In total, 66 airlines serve the Czech capital.

    In addition to classic European city destinations, the offering now also includes numerous exotic travel destinations and popular locations for winter holidays or city breaks. New for the 2025/2026 season compared with 2024/2025 are, among others, Beirut (Eurowings), Bordeaux (easyJet, Volotea), Cork (Aer Lingus), as well as Sharjah (Air Arabia) or Toulouse (Smartwings). New charter connections, for example to the Maldives, Muscat or Sharm El-Sheikh, also expand the offering. On more than 20 routes, weekly flight frequencies are being increased, including cities such as Athens, Dublin, Reykjavik, Paris, Copenhagen or Málaga.

    “Travel is no longer just a summer topic. The winter months are increasingly important as a holiday period for Czechs abroad as well as for international visitors to Prague. For this winter schedule, we expect over 6.4 million passengers. Our winter flight schedule offers a record number of destinations and a significant capacity increase of more than 12 %,” explains Jiří Pos, Chief Executive Officer of Prague Airport.

    Smartwings Expands Flight Offering

    The Czech airline Smartwings is making a particularly strong contribution to the increase in seat capacity. It is increasing available seats by more than 260,000 compared with last year. New direct connections include Brussels, Bucharest, Bilbao, Porto, Barcelona and Rome. Frequencies on popular routes to Málaga, Madrid and Paris are also increasing.

    In addition to Smartwings, new airlines will operate in Prague during the winter 2025/2026 period: Air Arabia (Sharjah), AJet (Istanbul/SAW) and Animawings (Bucharest). Airlines that started in the summer season, such as Asiana Airlines (Taipei), Condor (Frankfurt) or Etihad Airways (Abu Dhabi), continue their flights. In total, over 45,000 flights will be conducted in Prague during winter – 12 % more than in the last season.

    Outlook for Summer 2026

    The expansion of the route network will continue in the coming summer season. From May 2026, American Airlines will start a new connection to Philadelphia, easyJet will fly to Newcastle, and Etihad Airways, China Airlines and Air Canada will increase frequencies to Abu Dhabi, Taipei and Toronto.
