Výstaviště Holešovice once again the centre of attraction for numerous events in 2025

One of the highlights of 2024 was the reopening of Nová Spirála

The Prague Exhibition Grounds Výstaviště Holešovice and the market halls in Holešovice have been economically and administratively linked for a good two years. After a year of development, this year also promises further growth for both complexes.

In 2024, the exhibition grounds and market halls in Holešovice hosted a total of 373 events. The exhibition grounds attracted around 1.8 million visitors, while the market halls in Holešovice, which are open all year round, attracted around 2.8 million visitors. The market in Holešovice, which is popular with the people of Prague, is celebrating its 130th anniversary this year.

In addition to numerous events, the reopening of the New Spiral (Nová Spirála) after more than 20 years was one of the most important events at the exhibition centre last year. The most important events at the Exhibition Centre in 2024 included Matějská pouť, the All American Fest, Legendy, Metronome Prague, the Prague Book Fair, and many other events.

This year, the exhibition grounds will once again be revitalised with numerous events and new developments. The season traditionally begins with the symbolic Matějská pouť, which this year will offer visitors the legendary Cyklon steel roller coaster — an attraction that has been attracting children and adults for more than 40 years. With the start of Matějská pouť, the park at the exhibition grounds will also come to life, offering numerous sports activities such as running, cycling, scooter and skate riding, outdoor yoga, parkour, nature workouts, and outdoor climbing areas for children. All cafés will also be open from spring.
