The Mattoni Running Festival České Budějovice returns on 31 May, bringing music, movement, and thousands of runners to the streets of the South Bohemian capital.
Just a short drive from Linz, Passau or Munich, České Budějovice is an ideal destination for running enthusiasts from Austria and Germany. The race starts on the town’s main square – one of the largest in the country – and continues through the historic centre. The evening start, the fast, flat course, and the professional organisation make this half marathon a unique experience.
The festival is not just for marathon runners – it’s a celebration for the whole family. Participants can choose between the Vodafone 5K, the dm Family Mile, or the dm Bambini Run.
Part of the new RunCzech Half Marathon series
The Mattoni Half Marathon České Budějovice is one of five races in the new RunCzech Halfs series – an opportunity to discover five half marathons across the Czech Republic. Those who complete all five within 36 months will become members of the RunCzech Halfs Club and receive a special medal and other rewards.
