Street dance meets spontaneity: Red Bull Dance Your Style is returning to Prague – with plenty of beats, energy and a true stage atmosphere. No jury, no choreography – the audience decides. The winner flies to Los Angeles.
Red Bull Dance Your Style is taking place in Prague for the fourth time. This dance competition, where the music sets the rules and the audience chooses the winner, will once again bring street dance to the heart of the city. On Saturday 20 September, sixteen of the best dancers from across the Czech Republic will go head-to-head at the Křižík Fountain (Křižíkova fontána) at the Prague Exhibition Grounds – all aiming to represent their country at the world final in Los Angeles.
Red Bull Dance Your Style is more than just a competition – it’s a celebration of dance, music and spontaneous expression. What makes it unique is that it’s not a jury who decides the outcome, but the audience alone. Each battle is all about pure improvisation – no pre-set choreography. The dancers don’t know what track the DJ will play – which makes their spontaneity, musicality and instinctive expression all the more important. The winner is the one who captures the audience and wins them over.
Final at the Křižík Fountain – and new opportunities for rising talent
The grand final will take place in the open air at the Křižík Fountain at the Prague Exhibition Centre. The venue, known for its light shows, will be transformed into a dance arena on 20 September – welcoming not only familiar faces from the Czech street dance scene. A total of sixteen dancers will qualify for the national final. Fourteen of them will be selected by a team of curators from Red Bull Dance Your Style and experts from the dance community. These so-called ‘wildcards’ will be observed throughout the year and nominated specifically.
For the first time, dancers will also have the opportunity to qualify directly for the national final via an open qualifier. Two spots in the final sixteen are reserved for those who perform on Saturday 7 June, between 13:00 and 17:00, in front of Eden Stadium (near the Slavia Museum) in Prague-Vršovice. The qualifier is part of the programme for the biggest concert in Ben Cristovao’s career to date. Anyone can take part – just turn up, dance your heart out and impress a secret jury. The jury is looking for strong personalities with style, energy and charisma. Two dancers will earn their place in the September final.
A global format with heart and flair
Red Bull Dance Your Style takes place in over fifty countries each year, connecting dancers across styles, cultures and national borders. Every nation is searching for a unique personality – someone who impresses not only with movement but with presence. In the end, they all stand on the same stage, where improvisation becomes a truly international art form. The 2025 world final will be held in Los Angeles in October.
