Following their opening loss to the Vienna Vikings, the Prague Lions will play their second game of the season this Saturday. Their opponents at home are the Hamburg Sea Devils.
The European League of Football heads into its second round, and the Prague Lions are once again playing on home turf. In the season opener, they were defeated 6–28 by last year’s finalists, the Vienna Vikings, after a valiant effort.
The Vikings dominated from the start and quickly took the lead. The Lions managed to score in the second quarter but only secured a single touchdown without the extra point. The Vikings extended their advantage in the second half, preventing Prague from adding any further points.
Next up for the Prague Lions are the Hamburg Sea Devils, who also lost their opening match. The team from northern Germany narrowly fell 12–13 to the Madrid Bravos away in Spain. Buoyed by their strong showing in Madrid, the Hanseatic side now aim to demonstrate their capability — and earn the reward they missed in their first game.
After a hard-fought first week, the Prague Lions are ready for their second challenge against the Hamburg Sea Devils — and they need all the support they can get to rise to the occasion!
