The music that became legendary will be performed in Prague in a unique concert event – accompanied by dynamic, large-scale projections! On 7 November 2025, the Ennio Morricone Celebration will bring a magical atmosphere to the O2 universum with a concert dedicated to the extraordinary legacy of one of the greatest film music composers of all time.
Under the direction of his son, Andrea Morricone – a talented conductor and composer in his own right – the iconic melodies that have shaped world cinema will be brought to life. The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, a large choir, and world-class soloists will take to the stage. This musical experience will be enhanced by large-scale projections on three giant LED screens, immersing the audience in the atmosphere of legendary films.
International soloists – companions of the maestro
The unique atmosphere of the evening will be heightened by performances from top international musicians who worked directly with Ennio Morricone for many years. Their presence lends the concert not only musical excellence but also an authentic connection to the original performances of the great composer.
Most notable among them is the Italian guitarist Rocco Zifarelli, who collaborated closely with Morricone for over two decades and performed at dozens of his concerts around the world. His playing has become a hallmark of live performances of Morricone’s works – to this day, he remains one of the foremost interpreters of the maestro’s legacy.
Zifarelli will be joined by Italian soprano Vittoriana De Amicis, a regular performer on Morricone’s tours, and Stefano Cucci, a choral conductor who worked with the maestro on numerous orchestral projects. Also appearing on stage will be pianist Antonello Maio, bassist Giovanni Civitenga, and percussionist Massimo D’Agostino – all of whom were involved in Morricone’s live performances and studio recordings, particularly in the later years of his life and in the current concert series led by Andrea Morricone.
