Polish Day in the Gardens 2025: A Feast for All the Senses Beneath Prague Castle

As in previous years, the picturesque gardens below Prague Castle will become a place for meeting, exchange – and above all, enjoyment

On Saturday, the Polish Embassy in Prague once again invites you to Polish Day in the Gardens. Visitors can look forward to a vibrant festival featuring regional specialities, music, and a family-friendly programme – all set in the lush greenery beneath Prague Castle.

On Saturday, 14 June 2025, the extensive gardens of the Polish Embassy in Prague will once again provide the backdrop for a rich cultural and culinary celebration: Polish Day in the Gardens (Polský den v zahradách 2025). From 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., guests can enjoy a varied programme including regional cuisine, live music, interactive activities, and impressions from different parts of Poland – and admission is free.

Polish Day in the Gardens 2025

As in previous years, the beautifully maintained embassy gardens below Prague Castle will serve as a space for connection, cultural exchange – and above all, delight. Numerous stands will showcase various Polish regions, including Lesser Poland, Lublin, Lower Silesia, Lubusz, Opole, and the cities of Wrocław, Łódź, Toruń and Łeba. The Kociewie region of Pomerania will also be represented.

A special culinary experience awaits visitors. In addition to traditional Polish dishes prepared by Bacówka and Prague’s Bílá Kráva restaurant, this year’s highlight includes fresh Polish doughnuts from Pączkarnia Różana in Szklarska Poręba. Dessert lovers can indulge in feather-light meringue tartlets from Beza Legendario, while a range of delicacies, juices from Maspex, and craft beers from Piwa.cz will also be available for tasting. Orlen will be present with a coffee stand, and those curious to explore regional products can sample popular Silesian noodles or try cosmetics from the Ziaja brand.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the band Rita Pax, led by singer Paulina Przybysz, with their project Tribute to Breakout. A traditional Goral band and a brass ensemble from Wieliczka will round out the programme.

Polnischer Tag in den Gärten 2025

There will be plenty to keep children and families entertained: interactive stations, mini-competitions, art and craft workshops, science experiments, a climbing wall – and even introductory Polish lessons.

Polish Day in the Gardens has long since ceased to be just an insider tip for fans of Polish culture. It is an open invitation to experience Poland with all your senses – right in the heart of Prague.
