The Pivo na Náplavce Festival brings microbreweries and mini-breweries to Prague’s riverbank – with craft beers, lively stories and a genuine festival atmosphere. A must for beer lovers in Prague.
Pivo na Náplavce – the festival for mini and microbreweries from across the Czech Republic – returns to the embankment promenade on the Vltava River. And with it, over 40 breweries that have one thing in common: they don’t just serve beer, they serve stories.
This year, the traditional festival will once again take place at Rašínovo nábřeží in Prague 2. The event will be held on Friday 20 June and Saturday 21 June, and will offer beer tastings, a wide range of food, and live music.

As you make your way through the maze of taps, you’ll discover not only new flavours, but also the people behind them. Whether it’s the tradition-conscious brewers of Sedmý schod, the experimental Nachmelená opice, the wild MadCat, or one of the many other breweries – each stand tells a story of dedication, creativity, and the art of crafting something special from water, malt, and hops.
The motto: only glass touches the beer. Tastings are done exclusively with official festival mugs – a clear stance against disposable items and in favour of authentic enjoyment. And for those with an eye for detail, there’s a dedicated tasting card: take notes, compare, discuss – and vote. Because it’s the visitors themselves who choose the Pivo festivalu 2025 – the festival beer of the year.

In addition to beer, there’s a wide variety of food on offer. Visitors can look forward to a broad selection of dishes – including burgers, grilled specialities, Belgian fries, hot dogs, and more.
