On Sunday, Prague’s Náplavka will once again be transformed into a hotspot for design, creativity and handmade goods. The MINT Market returns to the banks of the Vltava River – with over 130 exhibitors and plenty of summer flair.
On Sunday, 22 June, Rašínovo nábřeží will once again be transformed into a colourful promenade for design lovers, connoisseurs and curious visitors: the 47th edition of the MINT Market Praha invites you to join more than 130 designers, creatives and artisans from all over the Czech Republic.
The setting is perfect for a summer festival of beautiful things: right on the Vltava River, with a view of Prague Castle, stalls line up offering lovingly sewn bags, handmade jewellery, natural cosmetics, unique ceramics and delicate macramé decorations. The range is complemented by fine delicacies and drinks – all handmade, all local.
What makes the MINT Market so special? Perhaps it is the combination of high-quality, authentic craftsmanship and the palpable passion with which every necklace, every candle and every notebook is created here. Or perhaps it is the relaxed atmosphere in which visitors stroll between the stalls, chat with the exhibitors or simply sit on the quay wall with a coffee and watch the hustle and bustle.
Admission is free – dogs are also welcome. The site is completely barrier-free. Anyone who has visited the MINT Market before knows that it’s not just about shopping, but about discovering, experiencing and enjoying.
For over 15 years, the MINT team has been organising markets throughout the Czech Republic – in more than 20 cities to date. What began as a small labour of love has long since become an institution for hand-picked design. And yet the MINT Market has retained its down-to-earth nature and warmth.
