The Metronome Prague 2025 festival is setting new standards: for the first time, it combines music, city and culture into a unique overall experience. With concerts, art events and its own tram line, the entire city of Prague will become a festival stage.
Running from today, 19 June, until Saturday, 21 June, the Metronome Prague 2025 music festival is more than just a highlight for music lovers – this year, for the first time, it extends beyond the festival site to connect the city with its most important art and cultural institutions. Alongside a top-class music programme, visitors can look forward to a diverse supporting programme spanning the whole of Prague.

In cooperation with Prague Public Transport (DPP), the festival organisers are launching a special tram line, which will run between the Výstaviště Praha festival grounds and Bílá Labuť on 20 and 21 June – every 20 to 25 minutes, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., free of charge for all passengers.
Some of the city’s most important art institutions participating in the festival are located along the route of the Metronome tram line (line 33), including:
- Národní galerie (National Gallery)
- Kunsthalle Praha
- Galerie Rudolfinum
- Museum Kampa
- Mozart’s Interactive Museum
- Praga Magica
Festival visitors will receive free admission to these museums and galleries – an offer that combines music and art in a truly unique way.
A varied programme also awaits festival guests directly on the grounds of Výstaviště Praha. In addition to concerts by top international acts such as Alanis Morissette, Rag’n’Bone Man, Die Antwoord, The Streets and Tommy Cash, there will be numerous activities, discussions and performances.
Excerpt from the supporting programme on site:
- Sports zone with pétanque, badminton, KanJam and other games
- Lecture on cyber security
- Theatre performance ‘2112’ by Divadlo Radar
- Upcycling workshop
- First aid course
- Specialist lecture on music therapy
In recent years, Metronome Prague has established itself as an integral part of the cultural landscape of the Czech capital. This year, international stars will once again meet artists from the local scene, including Michal Prokop, Aneta Langerová, Bára Poláková, Klára Vytisková and many more.
Tickets for the festival are still available online at metronome.cz in various categories.
