What do students, parents and teachers say about their schools? In 2025, the HodnoceníŠkoly.cz project once again evaluated thousands of votes and selected the most highly rated schools in the country.
Which schools truly excel – and who says so? The answers can be found in the latest report from the HodnoceníŠkoly.cz project, which has collected feedback from pupils, graduates, parents and teachers throughout the Czech Republic. The aim is to guide young people and their families in choosing the right educational path – and at the same time, to spotlight those institutions that impress with their high quality and inspiring environment.
“Many parents and students don’t know what to look for when choosing a school. That’s why we launched HodnoceníŠkoly.cz – to make real, first-hand experiences accessible,” explains Michal Novák, founder of the project and the ABSOLVENTI.cz platform. “It’s not about anonymous rankings, but about genuine feedback from everyday school life. After all, when you’re looking for accommodation, you read reviews – and avoid places with bad experiences. We apply the same principle to schools.”
The reviews are anonymous and continuous – and take into account, among other things, the quality of teaching, the professionalism of teachers, their interaction with students, and the overall atmosphere at the school. New for 2025 is the inclusion of feedback from parents and teachers themselves.
The project has over ten years of experience and works with schools across the Czech Republic. All participating institutions were informed in advance so they could actively involve their school community.
The evaluation not only shows where teaching is excellent but also how well schools prepare young people for the challenges of the future.
