Českomoravská and Florenc: Disruptions on Metro Lines B and C over Two Weekends

The reason is extensive construction work at both of the stations

Over the next two weekends, commuters in Prague should expect disruptions to metro services. The reason is construction work at the Českomoravská and Florenc stations.

The coming weekends, commuters in Prague should expect disruptions to metro services. The Prague Public Transport Company (DPP) is carrying out construction work at Florenc and Českomoravská stations, which will partially interrupt normal operations on lines B and C.

Metro C closed between Hlavní nádraží and Vltavská

This weekend, on Saturday, 25 October, and Sunday, 26 October 2025, the Hlavní nádraží – Vltavská section of line C will be closed from the start to the end of operations. The reason is the replacement of further old prestressed concrete beams as part of the ceiling renovation at Florenc station. As a replacement service, a special tram line XC will operate, serving central stations between Hlavní nádraží and Vltavská. Additionally, line 36 will run on an extended route from Zvonařka to Vozovna Kobylisy. Line 23 will be diverted towards Královka via the Nuselské schody stop to the turning point at Náměstí Bratří Synků.
