At the end of November, a gate to hell opens once more in Prague: the Krampus Show transforms the outdoor area of Výstaviště Praha into a spectacular realm of fire, masks and sinister figures.
On Saturday, 29 November 2025, the outdoor grounds of Výstaviště Praha will once again become a place full of demons, fire and frightening figures. This year, the popular Krampus Show celebrates its fifth anniversary – and the show will be bigger than ever.
Over 200 Krampuses will keep visitors on edge with their terrifying masks, furry costumes and wild stares. In addition to Czech groups, traditional Krampus teams from Austria will provide extra goosebumps.

“This year we celebrate a small anniversary. Without the pandemic-related breaks in 2020 and 2021, it would already be the seventh edition. It is amazing how the show continues to gain fans. We are particularly proud of this year’s novelty: the ‘Pekelný kotel’ – a restricted area for the bravest visitors over 18, where the Krampuses perform completely untamed,” explains Renata Lišková from the Výstaviště Praha programme team.
Afternoon show for children
The afternoon performance is child-friendly. While the Krampuses are frightening, they are rather gentle – and young visitors need not fear being taken into the “purgatory.” Children can look forward to small treats and a fantastic experience. Own costumes and masks are welcome to make the atmosphere even more memorable.

The evening show is aimed at thrill-seekers. Here, the Krampuses are “unleashed” – safe, yet wild. In the new “Pekelný kotel” zone, entry is for adults only: those brave enough may be scared, chased or even “captured” by the Krampuses.
Two catering zones will offer hot drinks, “demonic” sausages, tea for children and other treats. Fire and light shows will accompany the event to create the perfect atmosphere.
