100,000 vehicles produced in under twelve months: the Elroq is proving to be a real success story for Škoda Auto. The electric SUV is already among Europe’s most popular electric vehicles.
Since production began at the start of this year, Škoda Auto has manufactured 100,000 units of the all-electric compact SUV Elroq. The milestone vehicle is an Elroq RS in Mamba Green. As the first series-production model to embody the brand’s Modern Solid design language, the Elroq is built on a flexible production line that also produces the Enyaq and the MQB-based Octavia. This enables the carmaker to produce both electric models and those with combustion engines on the same line and to respond quickly to customer demand.

Andreas Dick, Board Member for Production and Logistics at Škoda Auto, says: “Producing 100,000 Elroqs in less than a year of series production is a major achievement for the entire team. It also reflects our thorough preparation and targeted adaptation of our production processes. The result speaks for itself: the enormous customer response underlines the outstanding build quality of cars ‘Made in Mladá Boleslav’.”
Škoda Elroq: among the best-selling BEVs in Europe
In the first three quarters of 2025, Škoda delivered almost 120,000 BEVs worldwide. In Europe, both models ranked among the top ten electric cars, with the Elroq taking second place and the Enyaq sixth. The Elroq is the best-selling BEV in the Czech Republic, Denmark and Slovakia, and is among the top three best-selling BEVs in Austria, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

Major success for the Elroq in Germany, Škoda’s largest single market
In Germany, Škoda’s largest single market, the Elroq was the best-selling electric vehicle in October, with 3,320 registrations. It was also Europe’s overall best-selling electric car in April, July and October. The Elroq’s success is reflected not only in strong customer demand but also in a growing list of international awards, including the prestigious Red Dot Design Award. The compact SUV was recently named ‘German Car of the Year’ 2026. A jury of 40 leading German and international journalists selected five class winners from 80 new vehicles before the Elroq prevailed in the final round against its four remaining competitors. It performed particularly well in terms of quality and environmental friendliness as well as value for money, driving dynamics and powertrain.
