Prague is making it easier for visitors to explore the city with the Prague Visitor Pass. More and more tourists are using the card to discover sights and experience the city off the beaten track.
The Prague Visitor Pass is enjoying growing demand among visitors to the Czech capital. In 2025, more than 50,000 domestic and international guests purchased the card – an increase of 20% compared with the previous year. It is particularly popular among travellers from Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, the USA, and Spain.
Cardholders primarily visit Prague Castle, the Old Town Hall, and the Jewish Quarter, but they also use it to explore destinations outside the historic city centre. Around half of users make use of the online version of the card.

“It is evident that the Prague Visitor Pass has established itself as a sought-after product and strengthened its position in the market. The rising figures show that quality, variety, and authenticity are exactly what visitors expect from Prague,” explains František Cipro, Chairman of the Board of Prague City Tourism. He adds: “It is important to us that tourists take away the best experiences from Prague and are eager to return – the comprehensive offering of the official city tourist card makes this possible.”
The 72-hour version is the most popular. On average, cardholders visit eight attractions in Prague. In addition to the well-known landmarks, tourists are also drawn to less central areas, including Vyšehrad, Prague Zoo, the Botanical Garden, and the National Technical Museum.
This year, the offering was expanded to include 16 new attractions. These include Rekola (bike rental), giving visitors new ways to explore the city. In total, the card now covers more than 100 locations.

“Next year, we aim to further expand the offering for visitors to Prague – with a particular focus on locations outside the heavily touristed historic city centre. At the same time, our goal is to maintain the high quality of all services and provide guests with even more valuable and authentic experiences,” says Michal Drobík, Managing Director of Prague City Tourism.
The Prague Visitor Pass is now being offered for the fourth year in collaboration with the ICT operator, who handles the technical development and administration of the card. It is complemented by a mobile app. In addition to attractions and cultural offerings, the card includes free use of public transport, official guided tours, and an airport transfer using public transport.
