Neo-Rock God Yungblud Plans Bludfest 2026 in Prague

The British alternative rock musician Yungblud is planning to bring his festival Bludfest to Prague. The musician has now revealed new details about the project – including plans for a two-day event and further international stops.

As Yungblud had already announced at his concert in Prague last year, the British musician wants to bring his own festival Bludfest to the Czech capital. The format already celebrated its premiere in the United Kingdom. According to a report by the Czech radio station Evropa 2, the singer has now disclosed further details – including plans to extend the event to two days.

The first edition of Bludfest took place two years ago in Milton, north of Cambridge, UK. The concept is deliberately simple: a festival at a price that remains affordable for as many people as possible. Yungblud has long criticised what he sees as the inflated ticket prices of major music events and, according to his own statements, now avoids attending them.

Bludfest 2026

Bludfest is set to take place again in 2026. In an interview with the music magazine Kerrang, Yungblud stated he hopes for 50,000 to 60,000 visitors. He has now confirmed these plans and named further stops. “My plan is to take Bludfest to Paris, Prague and Australia. I would also like to make the event two days long,” the singer said.

In addition to Yungblud himself, further international acts are expected to perform. As desired candidates, the musician named Bring Me The Horizon, The Cure and Lola Young. The goal remains to keep ticket prices as low as possible while still finding a fair way to finance major artists. “I don’t want to ask anyone to perform for less money just because the festival is a good idea. I simply ask them for their price,” explained Yungblud. His aim is for both the audience and the artists to benefit from the concept.
