
Weekend Partial Closure of Prague Metro Line B: Track Works at Českomoravská Station
For the affected section, the Prague Public Transport Company will operate the tram replacement line XB

This coming weekend, there will be disruptions on Prague Metro Line B. Metro services between Florenc and Vysočanská will be suspended due to track works at Českomoravská station.
Line B of the Prague Metro will experience a partial closure over the weekend due to track works related to renovation activities at Českomoravská station. From Saturday, 17 January 2026, from the start of service until Sunday, 18 January 2026, until the end of service, metro services between Florenc and Vysočanská will be suspended.
As a replacement, tram line XB will operate, serving the affected stations:
Florenc – Křižíkova – Invalidovna – Palmovka – Poliklinika Vysočany – Nádraží Vysočany – Vysočanská.
Additionally, it is recommended to use the regular tram lines 3, 8, and 12. Line 8 will be reinforced on the section Špejchar – Starý Hloubětín.

Other lines are also affected by route changes:
Line 8: Nádraží Podbaba – Starý Hloubětín – Hloubětín – Lehovec
Line 31: Spojovací – Krejcárek – Palmovka
To fully inform passengers, the Prague Public Transport Company is implementing a range of measures: information sheets will be available on vehicles and at stops, digital display boards in the metro stations will provide up-to-date notices, and announcements regarding the changes will be made on trains and trams.
