
From June: Emirates launches Premium Economy on A380 flights from Prague

Emirates launches Premium Economy from Prague: From June, the modernised Airbus A380 will operate for the first time with new Premium Economy seats on the Prague–Dubai route. At the same time, the Superjumbo’s onboard bar has also been upgraded.
Emirates is modernising its fleet. The Airbus A380, highly appreciated by travellers for its iconic onboard bar and spacious cabins, is at the centre of these updates. From June, the modernised A380 will operate the Prague–Dubai route, offering, alongside Economy and Business Class, Premium Economy for the first time.
The A380, known as the “Superjumbo”, is the largest passenger aircraft in the world and has a loyal fan base among frequent flyers. According to Emirates, the new Premium Economy class is designed to provide an entirely new sense of luxury.

Luxury and comfort across all classes
From private suites and showers in First Class, to flat-bed seats in Business Class, and extra legroom with user-controlled lighting and Wi-Fi in Economy, the A380 offers numerous amenities.
As part of the current fleet modernisation, the popular onboard bar has also been upgraded. At the same time, passengers in lower fare classes will also benefit from additional comfort features.
For flights from Prague from 1 June, tickets in the new Premium Economy can now be booked for the first time, alongside Economy and Business Class.
The Airbus A380 configuration for the Prague–Dubai route will include 76 Business Class, 437 Economy, and 56 Premium Economy seats.

First A380 scheduled flight in Prague was 10 years ago
After a longer pause due to the pandemic, the A380 returned to regular scheduled service at Prague Airport in early December 2024. The first Emirates Airbus A380 flight to Prague landed back in 2016. The arrival of the aircraft on 1 May then attracted significant attention, with numerous visitors following the event around Prague Airport.
The world’s largest passenger aircraft is closely associated with Emirates, the airline that operates the largest number of A380s in its fleet. A total of 254 aircraft of this type were built, also used by airlines such as Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, Korean Air, Qatar Airways, and Etihad Airways.
