Škoda Auto completed the 2025 financial year with the best results in its corporate history. The Czech automobile manufacturer increased both revenue and profit and delivered more than one million vehicles worldwide. At the same time, the company continues to push ahead with its strategy to electrify its model range.

According to the company, the Škoda Auto Group generated revenue of €30.1 billion last year, representing an increase of 8.3 per cent compared with 2024. Operating profit rose by 8.6 per cent to €2.5 billion. Net cash flow also reached a new record of €2.3 billion.

A key driver of the positive development was the growing demand for vehicles from the brand. Worldwide, Škoda delivered 1,043,900 cars to customers – around 12.7 per cent more than in the previous year. This means the manufacturer exceeded the mark of one million delivered vehicles for the first time in six years.

“Škoda Auto once again confirmed in 2025 that the company can maintain profitable growth based on a reliable business model and a clear focus on customers. In the year of the 130th anniversary of our company’s founding, we achieved the highest revenue, operating profit and net cash flow in our history,” said Klaus Zellmer, Chief Executive Officer of Škoda Auto.

Business in Europe developed particularly strongly. In the EU and other European markets, Škoda became the third best-selling brand in 2025. At the same time, the company recorded the strongest growth in new registrations among the ten largest manufacturers. In total, more than 840,000 vehicles were registered in Europe.

The best-selling model once again remained the Octavia. It was followed by the Kodiaq, Kamiq and Fabia. The current fourth generation of the Octavia has been on the market since 2020 and has now surpassed one million vehicles sold.

Electrified vehicles also proved to be an important growth driver. Deliveries of electric cars and plug-in hybrids increased significantly year on year, reaching a combined total of 218,700 vehicles. In Europe, more than one in four delivered Škoda cars already had an electrified powertrain.

The electric compact SUV Elroq performed particularly well. The model ranked among the best-selling electric cars in Europe and even secured first place in registrations in several countries, including the Czech Republic, Denmark, the Netherlands and Slovakia.

For the current year, Škoda plans to further expand its electric offering. In the first half of the year, the new electric crossover Epiq is set to be unveiled, followed later by the seven-seat family SUV Peaq. With these two models, the manufacturer aims to nearly double its portfolio of fully electric vehicles.

Alongside electrification, the company is also focusing on strengthening its international presence. In 2025, Škoda launched production in Vietnam for the first time and almost doubled its sales in India. The manufacturer also recorded significant growth in markets such as Turkey, Morocco and Egypt.

India is increasingly becoming a central pillar of the company’s international strategy. With more than 70,000 vehicles delivered, Škoda achieved a new record there last year. Together with Vietnam, the market is seen as an important starting point for further expansion in South-East Asia.
