The 50th Anniversary MINT Market Prague returns to Rašínovo nábřeží on Sunday

MINT Market is marking its 50th edition in the city on Sunday. Set along the Vltava, the anniversary event will bring together more than 130 curated brands – along with a special programme to celebrate the occasion.

Rašínovo nábřeží will become again a hub of independent fashion, original jewellery, and author design on Sunday. MINT Market Prague will return to the banks of the Vltava, where more than 130 carefully selected brands will present their work. And because this will be the 50th Prague edition of MINT Market, a special programme awaits visitors.

From 10:00 to 17:00, visitors can look forward to a carefully curated mix of brands focused on independent fashion, designer jewellery, ceramics, natural cosmetics, illustrations, and original accessories. The friendly atmosphere typical of MINT Market will of course be present, along with great food and a comfortable chill-out zone. Outdoor fashion shows will take place at 11:00 and 14:00. The event is suitable for all generations, admission is free, and the venue is barrier-free.

MINT Market has been active for sixteen years. During that time, it has become an important platform for small and emerging creators, often directly from Prague, who are given the opportunity to present their products to a wide audience. Residents of Prague and the surrounding area thus have several opportunities each year to purchase quality products that are literally made by their neighbours – locally, sustainably, and with an emphasis on honest craftsmanship.

The Design Market is not just about shopping. Since 2010, the project has been run by a team of people who systematically support small and local brands and are the only ones bringing high-quality Czech design to more than twenty cities across the country. What started as a small project has gradually grown into a community of more than 1,500 creatives and a platform that has hosted over 450 events and welcomed more than 1.3 million visitors.

“Supporting small and local brands has been one of the core ideas of our project from the very beginning,” says organiser Lenka Šašková, adding: “We try to encourage people not to be afraid to stand on their own feet and make a living doing what they enjoy. And we provide them with a place where they can showcase their products and meet their customers. Because nothing can replace a personal meeting.”
