Lidl Partners With Botas: Limited Sneaker Collection Launches Exclusively via App

The sneakers are based on the “Botas Iconic” model, which has been visually redesigned for the collaboration

Lidl, together with the Czech heritage brand Botas, is launching a limited sneaker collection. The edition combines classic design with brand-specific colours and will be offered in limited quantities. Sales will take place exclusively via the Lidl Plus app.

Lidl is launching a new collaboration project in the Czech Republic with the long-established footwear brand Botas. Under the slogan “Two icons, one pair”, the retailer presents a limited collection of sneakers aimed at a broad audience, combining design with a comparatively low price.

According to Lidl, the collection builds on the ongoing success of its own merchandise products, which have become particularly well established among younger customers. The aim is to offer a product that appeals both functionally and emotionally and reflects the brand identity of both partners.

“The combination of two traditional brands such as Lidl and Botas is a logical step for us in strengthening our relationship with our customers. Lidl has for years been perceived as a strong brand with significant appeal, as demonstrated by the exceptional success of our merchandising, which has achieved cult status, particularly among younger target groups,” says David Zappe from marketing at Lidl Czech Republic.

The sneakers are based on the “Botas Iconic” model, which has been visually redesigned for the collaboration. The discounter’s striking colours meet the classic design of the Botas brand. The shoes are designed for everyday use and feature, among other things, a durable rubber sole and an anatomically shaped insole.

Botas also sees the partnership as a combination of tradition and contemporary design. The project brings together craftsmanship with a modern approach to fashion, appealing to different customer groups.

“We greatly value partnerships with strong brands such as Lidl. This collaboration, in which two icons come together, represents for us the combination of tradition, quality and craftsmanship with a modern approach and a joy for fashion,” comments Vít Staněk, CEO of Botas.

Limited edition and sales via Lidl Plus

The special edition is limited to a total of 1,999 pairs and will be sold exclusively via the Lidl Plus app. Orders can be placed between 20 and 26 April 2026, with a maximum of two pairs per user account. The price is 1,999 crowns. Delivery will take place via selected Lidl stores during the course of May.
