
Summer-Like Weather in Sight This Weekend: Temperatures Across the Czech Republic Set to Rise Significantly

The Czech Republic can look forward to a sunny and warm weekend. According to meteorologists, regional highs could already come close to the 30-degree mark by Sunday.
After a still unsettled Thursday, the Czech Republic is set for a predominantly sunny and dry weekend. According to the latest forecast from the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ), temperatures will gradually rise over the coming days and could regionally reach almost 30 degrees Celsius by the beginning of next week.
On Thursday, the weather will initially remain changeable, with plenty of clouds and occasional brighter spells. Isolated rain showers are possible in some areas. These are expected to occur mainly locally, with Moravia and Silesia likely to be more frequently affected. Moderate winds are also expected. Daytime highs will range between 18 and 23 degrees Celsius, with the highest temperatures forecast in South Moravia.
From Friday onwards, increasingly sunny weather is expected to prevail. According to the forecast, rainfall will remain limited in most areas, while temperatures continue to rise. Only the north-east of the country is expected to remain somewhat cooler.
Meteorologists are forecasting highs between 22 and 26 degrees on Friday, and between 24 and 28 degrees on Saturday. On Sunday and at the beginning of next week, daytime temperatures could already climb to as much as 29 degrees Celsius. Summer-like temperatures of 25 degrees and above are expected across large parts of the country.
