Live music, beer tastings and brewery tours: Den Kozla 2026 in Velké Popovice will offer visitors a varied programme centred around the well-known Czech beer brand in mid-June.

The annual Kozel festivities will take place at the Velké Popovice brewery on Saturday, 13 June. From 12 noon, visitors can enjoy a diverse programme featuring live music, culinary demonstrations, competitions and guided tours of the brewery. Naturally, the beer of the Velkopopovický Kozel brand will also take centre stage.

The bands Lucie Revival, Acoustic Men and Tabasker will provide the musical entertainment. The programme will be hosted by actress and presenter Markéta Hrubešová.

Guests will also be able to take part in a beer-pouring school and test their skills in a range of competitions. These include barrel- and beer-mug-holding contests, a Kozel quiz, can bowling, beverage-crate stacking and a competition to identify well-known music hits. A demonstration of traditional cooperage craftsmanship will also be featured.
