Prague Open Air 2026 Begins Today: Kosheen, Dropkick Murphys and Czech Music Stars Under the Open Sky

From June to September, Riegrovy sady and Areál7 in Holešovice will once again be transformed into open-air concert venues. The programme features numerous Czech artists as well as international guests such as Kosheen and Dropkick Murphys.

With the start of the summer season, the popular Prague Open Air music festival is also returning to Prague. From June to September, the concert series will bring a total of 20 open-air concerts to two stages in the Czech capital, featuring well-known names from the Czech music scene alongside international artists.

The festival opens on 3 June 2026 with a concert by the Czech band Wohnout at the Energy Pub in Riegrovy sady. The final concert of this year's edition will take place on 8 September, when the legendary group Jasná Páka performs on the same stage.

Festival highlights include performances by artists such as Rozálie, Mig 21 and David Koller. International acts include the British band Kosheen and the Irish-American Celtic punk band Dropkick Murphys, one of the best-known representatives of the genre.

Two Open-Air Venues in Prague

Prague Open Air Festival concerts will once again take place at two venues in 2026: the Energy Pub in Riegrovy sady and the Areál7 event venue in Holešovice. Both locations are easily accessible by public transport.

Tickets and Important Information

A separate ticket is required for each concert. Children up to the age of ten are admitted free of charge. Holders of a ZTP/P disability card may bring one accompanying person free of charge.

At Areál7, only cashless payments are accepted. Visitors can pay by bank card, smartphone or smartwatch. The only exception is the sale of merchandise, which can also be paid for in cash.
