Škoda Auto Reveals First Design Sketches of New Peaq Electric SUV

Škoda’s new electric flagship is beginning to take shape: the carmaker has released the first design sketches of the seven-seat Peaq SUV. The world premiere of the new model is set to take place in France in around two weeks’ time.

Škoda Auto has published the first exterior sketches of its new all-electric Peaq SUV. The new model will become the flagship of the brand’s electric vehicle range and will offer seating for up to seven passengers. The vehicle is scheduled to make its world premiere on 23 June 2026 in Monnetier-Mornex, France.

The newly released sketches provide a first impression of the SUV’s design. The vehicle’s appearance is characterised by clean lines, sharply defined surfaces and the “Modern Solid” design language, which Škoda has already introduced on several of its latest models.

According to the manufacturer, the design combines balanced proportions with distinctive features such as T-shaped lights and the so-called Tech-Deck Face front end. These elements are intended to underline the brand’s new design identity in the era of electric mobility.

At the front, the vehicle features slim T-shaped headlights, a glossy black Tech-Deck Face and a distinctive connecting element between the lights. The design is further enhanced by the so-called Volcano Line in the lower section of the front bumper, which is intended to give the vehicle a powerful presence.

The side profile also adopts a striking design. High shoulder lines and robust D-pillars emphasise the vehicle’s size and presence. The sketches also reveal aerodynamically optimised door handles that are flush-mounted into the bodywork.

At the rear, Škoda reprises the styling of the front end. T-shaped rear lights and a continuous design element are intended to create a strong visual identity and make the vehicle immediately recognisable as a new model from the brand.

The full unveiling of the new Škoda Peaq will take place on 23 June 2026 at 18:25 in Monnetier-Mornex, France. With this model, Škoda is expanding its electric vehicle offensive with a large family SUV in the upper segment.
