The Chinese National Circus will perform in the Czech Republic for the first time in February 2027, presenting its acclaimed production ZENSATION: Grand Masters of Balance.

One of the world's best-known acrobatic productions is coming to the Czech Republic for the first time. In February 2027, the Chinese National Circus will bring its latest show, ZENSATION: Grand Masters of Balance, to Prague, Brno and Ostrava, promising a spectacular combination of thousands of years of Chinese acrobatics, modern staging and impressive theatrical aesthetics.

The production draws on more than 2,000 years of Chinese acrobatic tradition and presents a selection of award-winning performances, reinterpreted by a new generation of internationally acclaimed acrobats. Precision, body control and balance take centre stage – skills acquired through years of training at renowned Chinese acrobatic and gymnastics schools.

Many of the performers dedicate their entire lives to acrobatics. Their performances are characterised by exceptional concentration, technical perfection and extraordinary physical ability. Spectacular special effects are deliberately kept to a minimum. Instead, the production focuses on elegance, expressive artistry and the pure art of movement.

The current programme is intended as a "best of" the history of the Chinese National Circus. It brings together award-winning acts that have been honoured at international festivals and have captivated millions of spectators around the world. The artistic director of the European productions is Raoul Schoregge, under whose direction a new stage concept has been created, combining classical acrobatics with contemporary staging.

The Czech tour will include just three performances:

  • 26 February 2027: Ostrava, RT Torax Arena

  • 27 February 2027: Brno, Starez Arena Vodova

  • 28 February 2027: Prague, O2 universum
