EFA: Munich Ravens Extend Perfect Record with Win Over Prague Lions
League leaders from Munich claim a 48:12 victory in Prague – Lions turn their focus to the remaining regular season games

The Prague Lions suffered a setback in the race for the EFA BIG4 Semi Final Weekend. Against the still unbeaten Munich Ravens, the Prague side were ultimately beaten convincingly in front of their home crowd.
The Prague Lions suffered a heavy defeat on Matchday 10 of the European Football Alliance in their battle for a place at the EFA BIG4 Semi Final Weekend. The Prague side lost 48:12 at home to the still unbeaten league leaders, the Munich Ravens, on Sunday.
The Lions went into the game full of confidence after two dramatic victories in a row. However, against the strongest team in the league so far, they were unable to build on the performances of recent weeks.

The visitors from Munich took control of the game from the outset. After just over two and a half minutes, the Ravens scored their first touchdown to take an early 7:0 lead. As the game progressed, the Lions struggled to find an answer to the league leaders' powerful offence.
By half-time, the Prague Lions were already trailing 28:0. After the break, the Prague side managed to get points on the scoreboard, but the Ravens left no doubt about the outcome and extended their advantage further.

In the end, the Lions were beaten 48:12. The first meeting between the two sides in mid-June had also ended in a convincing 45:13 victory for the Ravens.
For Munich, it was their eighth win in eight games this season. The Ravens therefore remain top of the EFA standings and continue to have an excellent chance of finishing the regular season in first place.

The fifth-placed Prague Lions must now put the defeat behind them quickly and focus on the remaining regular season games, while keeping alive their hopes of reaching the EFA BIG4 Semi Final Weekend. On 2 August, the Lions will host the Raiders Tirol in Prague before concluding the regular season with another home game against Frankfurt Galaxy on 9 August.
