Bubbles Family Picnic in Prague: Family Festival Around Břevnov Monastery on Saturday

On Saturday, the park at Břevnov Monastery will turn into a meeting place for families. Visitors can look forward to a varied afternoon with music, Prosecco and creative activities for children.

Families can look forward to an extensive leisure programme in Prague 6 on Saturday, 5 September. At the “Bubbles Family Picnic” in the park at Břevnov Monastery, the focus will be primarily on music, entertainment and activities for children.

The family picnic will take place from 12.00 to 21.00 in Park u Břevnovského kláštera and is part of a larger festival programme. While adults can relax with Prosecco and various picnic offerings, a dedicated entertainment programme is planned for children.

One of the highlights will be a concert by Chiara, a singer popular with children. A meet-and-greet is also planned after the performance, giving young visitors the opportunity to meet the singer in person.

Another item on the programme is a bubble show featuring particularly large soap bubbles. During a workshop afterwards, children can try for themselves how the colourful bubbles are created. Creative stations will also be set up, where children can make bead necklaces, among other things. A bouncy castle will also be available for younger visitors.

There will also be musical entertainment throughout the afternoon. The band VONO will perform live in the park, while DJs will provide additional music during the family festival.

The Bubbles Family Picnic will take place on Saturday, 5 September 2026, from 12.00 to 21.00 in Park u Břevnovského kláštera in Prague 6.

For lovers of sparkling wine and Prosecco, however, the BUBBLES PIKNIK FEST starts on Friday

The BUBBLES PIKNIK FEST starts on Friday afternoon, 4 September. The selection of sparkling wine and Prosecco has been expanded further this time. In addition to a selection of Prosecco and Crémant, new signature cocktails, homemade lemonades and refreshing spritz variations will also be on the menu.

There will also be selected gourmet specialities designed to complement the sparkling drinks. DJs will provide the musical accompaniment throughout the event.
