Rod Stewart Brings his ‘The Final Encore’ Farewell Tour to Prague in June 2027

After more than six decades on stages around the world, Rod Stewart is bringing his touring career to a close. In summer 2027, his farewell tour will take him back to the Czech capital one more time.

Sir Rod Stewart, one of the most successful musicians of recent decades, has announced his farewell tour. Under the title ‘The Final Encore’, the singer plans to say goodbye to life on tour in 2027. Alongside several concerts in the UK, a performance in the Czech capital is also on the programme.

On 24 June 2027, Stewart will perform at Prague’s O2 Arena. Fans can look forward to a selection of songs spanning his career of more than six decades.

‘The time has come to say farewell to life on tour,’ Stewart said. He added that he had been singing the music he loved since the age of 19 and had had the privilege of travelling around the world doing so. The musician thanked his fans for making this extraordinary career possible. He said he wanted to say goodbye in the way he knew best – ‘with the music and one hell of a show’.

The farewell tour will feature numerous classics from Stewart’s career. These include ‘Maggie May’, ‘You Wear It Well’, ‘Tonight’s the Night’, ‘Hot Legs’, ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?’, ‘Young Turks’, ‘Baby Jane’, ‘Forever Young’, ‘Rhythm of My Heart’, ‘Sailing’ and ‘Have I Told You Lately’.

Rod Stewart is one of the most successful British musicians of all time. His career began in the 1960s, including as a singer with the Jeff Beck Group and later the Faces. In the early 1970s, he established himself as a solo artist.

Stewart has sold more than 250 million albums and singles worldwide. His greatest successes include numerous number-one albums and hits on both sides of the Atlantic. More than 50 years after his breakthrough, the internationally acclaimed singer continues to release new music.

The list of awards Sir Rod Stewart has received over the course of his career is as impressive as his music. They include two inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the ASCAP Founders Award for Songwriting, status as a New York Times bestselling author and the Grammy Living Legend Award. In 2016, he was knighted at Buckingham Palace for his outstanding services to music and charity, and since then has officially been known as Sir Rod Stewart.

‘The Final Encore’ is now set to mark the final chapter of his long touring career. The concert series is due to begin in Glasgow at the end of April 2027, with further performances including Birmingham, Manchester and London.

Tickets for the concert at Prague’s O2 Arena on 24 June 2027 are available from CZK 2,800, plus booking fees, with VIP packages also available. General ticket sales begin on 2 October 2026 at 10:00 via Ticketmaster and Ticketportal.
