Following its reopening, interest in Prague’s Industrial Palace has been high. More than 1,500 places on guided tours were taken within just a few hours. In mid-October, the historic building will therefore also open its doors to the public free of charge.
Following the completion of extensive renovation work, Prague’s Industrial Palace (Průmyslový palác) has been fully accessible again since the end of September. Particular attention has focused on the left wing, which was rebuilt after the 2008 fire.
Due to the high level of interest, Prague’s Industrial Palace, located at the Prague Exhibition Grounds in Holešovice (Výstaviště Praha), will be open to visitors free of charge during open days on the weekend of 17 and 18 October 2026.

According to the exhibition grounds, interest in the historic building has been exceptionally high. More than 1,500 places on guided tours organised jointly by Výstaviště Praha and Prague City Tourism were fully booked within just a few hours of going on sale.
“We are very pleased with the interest in the Industrial Palace. Although the building is not primarily a traditional sightseeing attraction, we want to give people as many opportunities as possible to see it,” said Tomáš Hübl, Chairman of the Board of Výstaviště Praha. He added that additional time slots were therefore continually being sought in which the palace could be opened to visitors.

Further guided tours in preparation
The guided tours already planned will continue until 11 October 2026. Due to high demand, Výstaviště Praha is currently working on additional dates. New dates are to be published on an ongoing basis on the websites of Prague City Tourism and Výstaviště Praha. Those interested can also register online to be informed in advance by email about new opportunities to visit.
Free admission on 17 and 18 October
Another opportunity to visit will be provided by the open days on 17 and 18 October. Admission will be free on both days. Visitors will be able to explore the building independently and without a guide. Výstaviště Praha says it will publish information on the exact opening hours and organisation of the weekend at a later date.

Visitors can also get to know the building during public events held at the Industrial Palace. In October, for example, this will be possible with a valid ticket for the Designblok Festival 2026 or as part of the Reshoper 2026 event.
Other events at the Industrial Palace, however, are currently aimed exclusively at professional audiences or closed groups of participants and are not freely accessible.
