US rock band Greta Van Fleet will perform in the Czech Republic for the first time in May 2027. At Prague’s O2 Arena, the Grammy Award-winning band will present their new album PALACE FOR THE PEOPLE alongside their hits.

Greta Van Fleet are coming to the Czech Republic for the first time. The American rock band will perform at Prague’s O2 Arena on 22 May 2027 as part of their ‘Into The Beginning’ tour. American duo Larkin Poe will appear as special guests.

At the concert, the band also plans to perform songs from their new album PALACE FOR THE PEOPLE, which will be released on 9 October. The latest single from the album, ‘Tear It Down’, was recently released. The group had previously released the songs ‘Play Your Games’ and ‘Saw You Stand’.

On the new album, Greta Van Fleet once again explore themes such as humanity, togetherness, resilience and pushing boundaries. Musically, the band combine their characteristic rock sound with distinctive vocals, powerful guitar riffs and solos, as well as increasingly expansive, at times almost symphonic elements.

From clubs to the big stages

Greta Van Fleet were formed in 2012 in Frankenmuth, in the US state of Michigan. After their first performances in local bars and clubs, the band made their way onto the stages of major arenas and stadiums around the world within just a few years.

The line-up consists of brothers Josh Kiszka on vocals, Jake Kiszka on guitar and Sam Kiszka on bass and keyboards, as well as drummer Daniel Wagner. Over the course of their career, the band have released several successful albums, completed sold-out world tours and won a Grammy Award.

Parts of the new album PALACE FOR THE PEOPLE were created in a remote cabin in the US state of Tennessee. For the production, the band worked with Mike Elizondo for the first time, who has previously worked with artists including Turnstile, Eminem, Fiona Apple and Dr. Dre. The album is intended to mark a new chapter in their musical development and further develop the band’s previous rock ’n’ roll sound.
