The drum & bass festival Let It Roll Winter returns to Prague’s Výstaviště exhibition grounds at the end of January. The headliners include the reunited Noisia as well as British producer Wilkinson.

Let It Roll Winter will take place on 22 and 23 January 2027 in the Křižík Pavilions at the Prague exhibition grounds. Over two days, numerous international names from the drum & bass scene will perform across three stages. One of the highlights is likely to be the appearance of Noisia: the Dutch trio reunited in 2026 after a break of several years.

Noisia, consisting of Nik Roos, Martijn van Sonderen and Thijs de Vlieger, have been among the most influential acts in the international drum & bass scene for more than two decades. The Groningen trio released albums including Split the Atom, Outer Edges and Closer and, with their experimental sound, also helped shape the technical development of electronic music. Alongside their own music, Noisia founded the VISION label, produced the radio show Noisia Radio and organised the Noisia Invites event series.

Comeback after several years away

In September 2019, Noisia announced that they would end the joint project. The farewell tour originally planned for 2020 was extended because of the coronavirus pandemic and was eventually concluded in 2022 alongside the release of the album Closer. The three musicians then focused on their own projects.

In 2026, Roos, van Sonderen and de Vlieger began working on music together again. Alongside their solo activities, new productions are now once again being created under the Noisia name. Live performances are also set to become part of the project again and at the same time serve as a platform for new material.

The first joint show following the comeback is planned for 4 December 2026 at Amsterdam’s Melkweg. Due to high demand, a second date was added for 5 December. Both concerts are already sold out. The appearance at Let It Roll Winter in Prague will therefore be among the first shows following the trio’s return to the stage.

Wilkinson leads Friday’s programme

Alongside Noisia, numerous other well-known names are on the line-up. Friday’s headliner is British producer and DJ Wilkinson. Other acts include Andromedik, Koven, Black Sun Empire and Fox Stevenson. The programme is spread across three stages with different musical focuses.

The Mainframe Stage focuses mainly on melodic and energetic drum & bass. On Friday, alongside Wilkinson, Andromedik, A Little Sound, Rova and Eskei83 will take to the stage. On Saturday, Koven, Fox Stevenson, Anaïs, Subsonic, Circadian and Pirapus will follow.

Noisia headline the Entropy Stage

The Entropy Stage is dedicated to the harder and more experimental styles of the genre. On Friday, Black Sun Empire, Enei, Burr Oak, Magnetude and Skrimor will perform there.

On Saturday, Noisia will take the headline slot. The programme will also include IMANU, QZB and Rido, as well as a joint back-to-back performance by Prolix and Pythius.

A third stage will focus mainly on the Czech drum & bass scene on both days. On Friday, the programme ranges from jungle and deep drum & bass to more experimental sounds.

Vinyl sets for the 25th anniversary

On Saturday, the third stage will also mark the 25th anniversary of Let It Roll. It is intended to recall the festival’s beginnings in the Czech club scene. All sets on this stage will be played exclusively on vinyl. In this way, the organisers aim to create a connection between the festival’s early years and its current international significance.

Let It Roll Winter 2027 will take place on 22 and 23 January 2027 in the Křižík Pavilions at Prague’s Výstaviště exhibition grounds. Tickets are already available at the Let It Roll website.
