Czech Railways is once again offering discounted tickets for smaller travel groups in November. Those travelling with friends, family or colleagues can save 25 per cent when booking train tickets. Advance ticket sales are already under way.
Czech Railways (České dráhy) has relaunched its “ČD DNY” discount campaign. Groups of two to five people will receive a 25 per cent discount on selected tickets for train journeys between 1 and 30 November 2026. The offer applies to both first and second class. Tickets have been available for booking since 15 October.
With the campaign, the railway company aims to appeal particularly to families, groups of friends and colleagues travelling together. The goal is to make train travel more affordable for smaller groups and offer an alternative to travelling by car.

How the Group Discount Works
The 25 per cent discount is automatically deducted from the available ticket price when purchasing online. The discount applies to all members of the travel group and can be combined with different ticket categories.
The discount can be used for both train-specific tickets and more flexible fares. Travellers can therefore choose between cheaper connections tied to a specific train and offers that also allow them to take later České dráhy services.
The condition is that all tickets for the group must be purchased together online in a single booking transaction. The offer is available through the “Můj vlak” app, the official České dráhy online shop and the online shops of authorised sales partners.

Example: Group of Five Saves Around 150 Crowns
An example calculation provided by the railway company for the route from Prague to Ústí nad Labem shows how the discount works. A group of five travellers with different ticket categories benefits from the following price reductions:
One adult without a discount: Instead of 169 crowns, the fare is 127 crowns.
Two adults with an IN 25 discount card: The fare falls from 127 to 95 crowns each.
Two children under 18: Instead of 84 crowns each, they pay just 63 crowns.
Overall, the total fare for the group of five falls from 591 to 443 crowns, resulting in a saving of 148 Czech crowns.
The discount is valid for journeys from 1 to 30 November 2026 inclusive. Further information on the conditions and booking options is available on the official České dráhy website – ČD DNY.
