Due to the greening of the tram tracks between Chotkovy sady and Brusnice, Prague's tram services will face disruptions this weekend and next weekend. Lines 22 and 23 will be affected.

On the weekends of 17–18 October and 24–25 October 2026, tram services between the Chotkovy sady and Brusnice stops will be temporarily suspended. The reason is work to green the tram tracks.

The temporary closure will also affect the Pražský hrad (Prague Castle) tram stop, which is located on the closed section and will not be served during the works. Visitors to Prague Castle are advised to use the Pohořelec stop to reach the castle grounds during this period.

The restrictions will apply on all four days from 7 am to 4 pm.

Diversion via Hradčanská and Prašný most

During the works, tram lines 22 and 23 will be diverted between Malostranská and Brusnice. The alternative route will run via the Chotkovy sady, Hradčanská and Prašný most stops.

Further information on timetable changes is available on the website of the Prague Public Transport Company (DPP).
