The Czech Social Security Administration (ČSSZ) is offering free individual consultations with English interpretation for people approaching retirement age who have questions about their pension entitlements in the Czech Republic.

People approaching retirement who do not speak Czech fluently will have the opportunity to receive advice on their pension rights at a special information day in Prague on Thursday, 5 November 2026.

The Czech Social Security Administration (ČSSZ) will provide free individual consultations at its client centre in Prague 5, with English interpretation available throughout the appointments.

The consultations are aimed particularly at people who have worked or been insured in the Czech Republic and other countries and need guidance on their pension entitlements.

Information on Czech Pension Entitlements

During the consultations, participants can obtain information on the eligibility requirements for a Czech state pension, how to claim pension rights after working or being insured in more than one country, and the payment of Czech pensions abroad. The advisers will also answer other practical questions relating to the Czech pension insurance system.

However, the consultations will focus exclusively on the Czech state pension system. Entitlements under private pension schemes or foreign pension systems will not be covered.

Date, Location and Registration

The Pension Information Day will take place on Thursday, 5 November 2026, from 9:00 to 14:00, at the ČSSZ headquarters' client centre, Křížová 25, Prague 5. Participation is free of charge, but advance booking is required through the ČSSZ online reservation system.

When booking, applicants should select “Klientské centrum ústředí ČSSZ” from the list of offices, followed by “Consultation in English / Konzultace v angličtině”.

Visitors must bring a valid identity document. Where applicable, they are also advised to bring documents relating to their insurance periods, employment or residence in the Czech Republic or abroad that may be relevant to their pension situation.
