From Hanover to the world’s biggest stages
Founded in Hanover in 1965, Scorpions are among Germany’s most internationally successful rock bands. With their distinctive sound and energetic concerts, they have built an audience spanning generations. The band have sold more than 100 million records worldwide.
Their major international breakthrough came in the 1980s with the albums “Blackout” and “Love at First Sting”. Songs such as “No One Like You”, “Rock You Like a Hurricane” and “Big City Nights” remain staples of their live performances. Scorpions are equally well known for ballads such as “Still Loving You” and “Send Me an Angel”.
“Wind of Change” holds a special place in their repertoire. Inspired by the sense of optimism at the end of the Cold War, the song became a symbol of the political and social changes of the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Tickets for the concert at Prague’s O2 Arena on 9 June 2027 will be available from CZK 1,800 (plus booking fees). The official ticket sale starts on 6 November 2026 at 11:00 via Ticketmaster and Ticketportal.
