This July, Prague’s Kampa will once again be transformed into a slice of France. At the 18th French Market, visitors can look forward to culinary specialities, fine wines and a vibrant cultural programme – a feast for all the senses in the heart of Prague.
From 10 to 13 July 2025, the French Market (Francouzský trh – Le marché français) will return to Kampa for the 18th time – a much-loved event that blends French gastronomy, select wines and sparkling wines, and a lively cultural line-up.
For four days, visitors can savour delicacies such as fresh croissants, exquisite cheeses and fine wines against a historic backdrop. Alongside the culinary offerings, a varied musical programme will provide the perfect atmosphere. Families are well catered for too, with an entertaining children’s programme designed to delight both young and old.

Numerous exhibitors and producers of regional French specialities will present their products. Guests can enjoy traditional dishes such as oysters, Burgundy snails, frog legs, an array of regional cheeses, hams and sausages, as well as duck delicacies including foie gras. Popular French pâtés and tempting baked goods will also be available.

Naturally, there will be a wide selection of white, rosé, red and sparkling wines from France’s most renowned wine regions – including Alsace, Burgundy, Bordeaux, Champagne and the Loire. Wines from lesser-known indigenous grape varieties will also feature.

This year’s motto, “Oh là là”, reflects the spirited atmosphere that awaits. The festival is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and once again promises a delightful blend of French flair, indulgence and joie de vivre in the heart of Prague.
