Air Arabia is expanding its route network and will offer daily direct flights from Prague to Sharjah starting in December. The new flight connection opens up attractive opportunities for travellers from the Czech Republic to discover the culturally rich metropolis in the United Arab Emirates.
From 20 December 2025, Air Arabia will launch a new daily direct connection between Prague and Sharjah. This further expands the airline’s offering to the Middle East, opening up new opportunities for travellers not only to the Emirates but also for onward travel to Asia and Africa.
The new route will be operated year-round using an Airbus A320 with 174 seats. Ticket sales have already started.

With around 1.6 million inhabitants, Sharjah is the third largest city in the United Arab Emirates and is considered the cultural centre of the country. The city offers numerous museums, historic districts and a picturesque waterfront promenade along the Persian Gulf. In contrast to neighbouring Dubai, Sharjah is more tradition-conscious – alcohol, for example, is completely prohibited there.

With the new connection, Prague Airport is strengthening its role as a growing hub for travel to the Middle East and beyond. Tickets are available on the airline’s website at www.airarabia.com.
