The 15th edition of the Prague Pride festival reaches its highlight with the large parade on Saturday, which will lead tens of thousands of people through the city centre up to Prague’s Letná – accompanied by extensive traffic restrictions.
This year’s Prague Pride is once again marked by the big rainbow parade through the Czech capital. On Saturday, 2 August, from 12 noon, tens of thousands of participants of the Prague Pride Parade 2025 will march from Wenceslas Square through the city centre to Letná Park – a colourful statement for diversity and equality that will also have noticeable effects on traffic.
The parade route leads from Wenceslas Square along the streets Na Příkopě and Revoluční, over the Old Town Square, Pařížská Street, to Čechův Bridge. From there, it goes up the steps to Letná Park. In total, the procession covers around 3.5 kilometres.

Between 12 and 3.30 pm, drivers and public transport users should expect road closures. Čechův Bridge will be completely closed from 1 to 3 pm, tram lines will be diverted, and streets Revoluční, Dlouhá and Pařížská will be inaccessible at times.
The organisers expect up to 70,000 participants. Around 4 pm, the parade is scheduled to end at Letná, where a large music festival will follow until 10 pm, providing a lively atmosphere. Police, emergency services and about 100 volunteers will accompany the event to ensure safety and smooth proceedings.
