New Video Series from Prague Daily News: “Beerland Czech Republic”

The series focuses on both traditional breweries and modern craft beer spots, as well as unique venues

With the new video series “Beerland Czech Republic”, Prague Daily News is turning the spotlight on the country’s diverse beer culture. Together with our beer enthusiast David, we visit breweries, beer pubs and events across the country, showcasing the many different facets of the local beer tradition.

With “Beerland Czech Republic”, Prague Daily News is launching a new video series dedicated to the rich beer culture of the Czech Republic. Together with David, our beer enthusiast, the series sets out on a journey of discovery through breweries, beer pubs and events throughout the country.

The series focuses on both traditional breweries and modern craft beer spots, as well as other interesting venues. Viewers will gain an insight into the wide diversity of Czech beer culture – from small family-run breweries and historic beer cellars to new trends emerging across the scene.

Alongside the beer itself, the series also aims to introduce the people, stories and regions behind the country’s centuries-old brewing tradition. The episodes will feature local specialities, brewing processes and the different beer cultures found in various parts of the country.

“With ‘Beerland Czech Republic’, we want to present the beer culture of the Czech Republic in an authentic way while also showing why beer here is far more than just a drink for many people,” says David.

The new series is being produced in co-operation with our partner portal Tschechien News. The opening episode takes viewers to the craft beer festival “První pivní máj” in Prague-Břevnov. A new episode is planned roughly every two weeks, complemented by occasional special editions in between.
