Makro Czech Gastro Fest 2027 in Prague: Tickets now on sale for the fifth edition

Makro Czech Gastro Fest will bring top chefs, regional cuisine and international guests to Prague’s O2 universum on 9 and 10 April 2027. Tickets for the fifth edition are now available.

Makro Czech Gastro Fest returns for its fifth edition in 2027. Under the motto “The place where Czech gastronomy grows” (Místo, kde roste česká gastronomie), the event is aimed at both industry professionals and people who enjoy good food. Alongside the dishes, the focus is on the quality of service, hospitality and passion for the profession.

The faces of the fifth edition are chef Zdeněk Pohlreich, MasterChef Česko winner Kristína Nemčková, and actor and food influencer Lukáš Hejlík, who is particularly committed to promoting regional gastronomy. The announced international guests include American chef Philippe Tessier, who won the silver medal at the Bocuse d’Or in 2015.

According to Jiří Nehasil, Managing Director of makro ČR and President of the festival, customers, suppliers and partners are increasingly helping to shape the event. For the anniversary edition, he promises an expanded programme, international guests and a further improved festival experience.

More space for regional and international cuisine

The themed areas will be rearranged for the fifth edition. Regional and international cuisine in particular will be given more space.

According to the organisers, the range of free tastings will also be larger than in previous years and spread across several areas of the festival. Alongside products from the makro range, visitors can also sample dishes from partner restaurants.

The programme will be complemented by workshops, talks and live podcasts. The final of the second edition of the Makro Gastro Cup will also take place. In this competition, students from catering colleges take on the full running of a restaurant in front of an audience.

Tickets now available

Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster and Ticketportal. The lower prices of the first sales phase currently apply. Admission includes a wide selection of tasting portions across all festival areas.

Ticket prices for Makro Czech Gastro Fest 2027:

• Adults: 699 crowns

• Students and senior citizens: 299 crowns

• Children under twelve: 1 crown

• Two-day ticket: 999 crowns
