Metronome Prague 2026 Starts on Friday: Sting, Nick Cave and Nearly 30 More Acts Set for Letňany

The Metronome Festival Prague will celebrate its tenth anniversary from Friday, bringing international music stars such as Sting and Nick Cave to Prague. In addition to around 30 concerts, visitors to Letňany can also look forward to an extensive gastronomy and arts programme.

On Friday, 19 June, Metronome Prague, one of the biggest music events of the year in the Czech capital, will get underway. The festival marks its tenth anniversary in 2026 and is attracting visitors to Letňany with a high-profile international line-up and a wide-ranging accompanying programme.

At Letňany Airport, nearly 30 artists will perform between 19 and 21 June. The headline acts include Sting, Nick Cave, the Manic Street Preachers, Tom Odell, Lykke Li and JADE. The Czech music scene will also be strongly represented, with performances by Marie April, Marcell & Fiedlerski, and Mat213 & Gufrau, among others.

According to the organisers, the weather forecast is also promising sunny summer conditions for the festival weekend. “You do not celebrate a tenth anniversary every year. And a line-up like this does not come around every day either,” the organisers said.

In addition to the music, visitors can enjoy an extensive gastronomic offering. The programme is being curated by the team behind the FRESH Festival, featuring a selection of Asian, American and Mediterranean specialities. The programme will also include the Open Air Art Gallery, showcasing large-scale sculptures and installations inspired by music and contemporary art.

Another advantage of the festival is its excellent accessibility by public transport. The site is located close to a metro station, allowing visitors to travel quickly to Prague city centre or home after the concerts.
