American Football: Prague Lions to Host Paris Musketeers in Žižkov on Saturday
Visitors to the Prague Lions' home game against the Paris Musketeers can look forward not only to professional American football, but also to a full Gameday experience with a fan zone, music and family entertainment

Following a dramatic away victory over the Raiders Tirol, the Prague Lions are looking to continue their upward momentum. On Saturday, they host the Paris Musketeers in Prague, with a fan zone and entertainment programme for the whole family.
After a slightly bumpy start to the new season, the Prague Lions are back on track. With a dramatic 45–44 away victory over the Raiders Tirol in their last game, the Lions from Prague sent out a strong statement. This Saturday, 11 July, the Prague Lions welcome the Paris Musketeers to the FK Viktoria Žižkov Stadium for their next European Football Alliance fixture. Kick-off is at 4 pm, while the stadium and fan zone open at 1 pm.
The Prague Lions' Gameday is designed to be more than just a sporting event. It offers a full-day experience for fans, families and anyone wanting to experience American football live for the first time. The fan zone opens three hours before kick-off directly in front of the stadium's main entrance. With DJ Chuck Diesal, children's activities, merchandise, and a wide selection of food and drinks, there will be plenty of entertainment and refreshments throughout the day.

The game will take place at the FK Viktoria Žižkov Stadium in Prague 3. The easiest way to reach the stadium is by tram lines 5, 9, 15 or 26 to the "Viktoria Žižkov" stop directly outside the venue. It is just one stop from Prague's Main Railway Station.
Tickets for the covered main stand cost CZK 300, while seats in the uncovered stands are available from CZK 100. Children up to the age of two do not require a ticket provided they do not occupy a seat. Discounted tickets are available for children up to the age of 15. Advance ticket sales are available through Ticketmaster.
Prague Lions: American Football in Prague Since 1991
The Prague Lions are among the most traditional American football teams in the Czech Republic. Founded in 1991, the club became the country's first team to play under NFL rules. Since joining professional European football, the team has developed significantly. After recording just one win in their debut European season in 2024, the Lions finished the 2025 campaign with a winning 7–5 record, narrowly missing out on the play-offs.
After the Prague Lions and several other teams left the European League of Football (ELF) following the 2025 season, the Lions became a founding member of the new European Football Alliance. The new league, operated by its member teams, aims to make American football in Europe more visible, stable and professional. Six teams are competing in its inaugural season: Frankfurt Galaxy, Munich Ravens, Nordic Storm, Paris Musketeers, Prague Lions and Raiders Tirol. The league is already planning to expand in 2027 with teams from London and Milan.
The home game against Paris is therefore not only a sporting contest between two international teams, but also another step for the Prague Lions in establishing American football in Prague as a professional sporting event and a family-friendly live experience.
