
25th Ball of the Austrians to Take Place in Prague on 22 January 2027
Anniversary Ball at Žofín Palace Offers Waltz Music, Orchestral Sounds and Dancing Until the Early Hours

The Ball of the Austrians will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year. The anniversary edition will take place at Prague’s Žofín Palace at the end of January 2027. Tickets and seats can already be reserved.
Preparations for the 25th Ball of the Austrians in Prague are under way. The traditional event will return to Žofín Palace on Slavonic Island on 22 January 2027.
Visitors can look forward to a classic Viennese ball evening featuring a ceremonial opening and the traditional call of “Alles Walzer!” The programme will also include well-known waltz melodies, the midnight quadrille, and music and dancing until the early hours.

Musical accompaniment will once again be provided by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and the Josef Hlavsa Orchestra.
Reservations Already Open
The reservation system for the anniversary ball is already open. Visitors can select and reserve tickets, individual seats and entire tables via the event’s website.

The Ball of the Austrians is a well-established highlight of Prague’s German-speaking and international social calendar. Bringing together Viennese ball traditions and Czech-Austrian cultural exchange, the event will celebrate its 25th edition in 2027.
