Thirty Seconds to Mars are bringing their new world tour to Prague in 2027. Fans can expect a musical journey through two of the American rock band's most successful albums.
American rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars will perform at Prague's O2 Arena on 18 May 2027. The new world tour will focus on two of the most successful albums in the band's history: A Beautiful Lie and This Is War.
With the “A Beautiful Lie vs This Is War” tour, the band looks back on two defining chapters of their career. Fans can look forward to well-known songs such as “The Kill”, “From Yesterday”, “Kings and Queens” and “This Is War”. The Prague concert has been announced as an approximately two-hour show without a support act.
Two Albums at the Heart of the World Tour
Thirty Seconds to Mars gained international recognition primarily through their 2005 album A Beautiful Lie. Following their debut album in 2002, the band achieved their worldwide breakthrough with this release. Songs such as “The Kill”, “From Yesterday” and the title track “A Beautiful Lie” remain among the band's best-known tracks to this day.

The band continued their success with the follow-up album This Is War in 2009. Tracks such as “Kings and Queens”, “This Is War” and “Closer to the Edge” became regular features of their live performances and shaped the band's sound for many years.
Both albums now form the musical focus of the new tour. The spotlight will therefore be on songs from a period when Thirty Seconds to Mars established themselves internationally as a major force in alternative rock.
More Than 15 Million Albums Sold Worldwide
Since their formation, Thirty Seconds to Mars have sold more than 15 million albums worldwide. The band, led by singer Jared Leto and his brother Shannon, are particularly known for their elaborate live performances and intense audience interaction.
The group has also continued to evolve musically over the years. Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams (2013) was followed by the album America in 2018, which produced singles including “Walk on Water” and “Rescue Me”. With their sixth studio album, It's the End of the World but It's a Beautiful Day, released in 2023, the band once again moved towards a more pop-oriented sound.
In 2026, Thirty Seconds to Mars also celebrated the 20th anniversary of A Beautiful Lie with a special release. It includes four previously unreleased recordings, including an acoustic version of the hit “The Kill”. The release was accompanied by a new music video looking back on the past two decades of the band's history.
Tickets for the concert at Prague's O2 Arena on 18 May 2027 are available from CZK 1,500 (plus booking fees). Official ticket sales begin on 30 October 2026 at 10:00 via Ticketmaster and Ticketportal.
