Colourful, loud, political: the Prague Pride Parade 2025 will once again wind its way through the city at the beginning of August

This year’s Prague Pride motto is ‘Kde domov můj?’

At the beginning of August, Prague will once again become the stage for one of the largest Pride parade in Central Europe. Thousands of people will celebrate diversity, love and self-determination at the highlight of the Prague Pride Festival 2025 – colourful, loud and political.

The most vibrant demonstration in the Czech Republic is back: on Saturday, 2 August 2025, the Prague Pride Parade will take place as the main event of this year’s festival. Thousands of participants will celebrate diversity, love and equality – loudly, confidently, and dancing through the streets of the capital.

Starting point: Václavské náměstí – Destination: Pride Park on Letná

The meeting point is at 11 a.m. at the corner of Můstek/Na Příkopě in the lower part of Wenceslas Square. At 12 noon, the parade will set off – accompanied by music, banners and plenty of rainbow colours. The route will lead along Na Příkopě Street, through Celetná Lane, past Old Town Square and along Pařížská Street to Čechův Bridge. From there, it continues up to the Letná plateau, where the big closing party will take place in the Prague Pride Park.

Those arriving early can still get kitted out

The colourful pre-programme begins at 11 a.m. on Wenceslas Square, featuring a make-up corner, workshops for making signs, stalls selling rainbow merchandise and refreshment stands. The event will be hosted by dancer and actress Eliška Soukupová.

This year, an admission wristband is required to enter the festival grounds in Letná – available on site at two stands for 200 CZK or online via GoOut.cz.

Pride Park: Celebrate into the night

In the afternoon and evening, visitors to Pride Park can enjoy a large open-air festival with music, food, drinks and a varied programme. The venue is wheelchair accessible. A separate entrance for VIP guests offers fast-track entry.

    A festival for everyone

The motto of Prague Pride 2025 is ‘Kde domov můj?’ (‘Where is my home?’) – a deliberate reference to the Czech national anthem. At the same time, it reflects a question that many LGBTQ+ people around the world ask themselves. With over 200 events across seven days – from lectures and discussion panels to sports activities and karaoke – Prague Pride is now one of the largest cultural events in the country. The festival is organised by the Prague Pride association in cooperation with NGOs, businesses and committed individuals.
