A Czech wedding-tech startup aims to replace scattered vendor searches, endless messaging threads, and complicated spreadsheets with one streamlined planning hub — while also giving venues and suppliers a more effective way to connect with couples.
For many couples in the Czech Republic, wedding planning begins with dozens of open browser tabs, shared spreadsheets, and long conversations spread across multiple apps. Keeping track of venues, photographers, florists, guest lists, and budgets can quickly become overwhelming.
Prague-based startup Svatbík believes it has a solution. The platform combines wedding supplier discovery with integrated planning tools designed to simplify the entire process from the first venue search to the wedding day itself.
A Comprehensive Wedding Catalogue
At the centre of the platform is an extensive catalogue of wedding venues, services, and shops across the Czech Republic. Couples can browse castles, hotels, restaurants, farm venues, photographers, florists, bakers, DJs, bridal boutiques, makeup artists, and more through a searchable and filterable system.

The catalogue is available in four languages — Czech, English, Russian, and Ukrainian — helping both local and international couples navigate the Czech wedding market more easily.
According to Svatbík, the goal is to create “the most complete and transparent catalogue of wedding venues, services, and shops in the Czech Republic”.
Unlike many traditional wedding directories, the platform focuses on providing practical information couples typically need before making first contact with suppliers, helping reduce unnecessary back-and-forth communication.

Planning Tools in One Place
Alongside its supplier catalogue, Svatbík also offers a full suite of wedding planning tools integrated directly into the platform.
Each couple receives a personalised wedding website with its own URL, allowing guests to access schedules, venue information, dress codes, RSVP forms, accommodation details, and gift registries in one place.
Other features include RSVP and guest list management, dietary preference tracking, budget management tools with live cost tracking, and QR-code photo galleries that allow guests to upload wedding pictures without downloading an app.
A Platform for Couples and Vendors
The startup positions itself as a two-sided platform designed to benefit both couples and wedding suppliers.
Wedding venues featured on the platform, including Zámek Blatná and Medusa Prague, say couples often arrive better informed before making initial enquiries, helping simplify communication and reduce administrative workload.

For couples, the platform aims to shorten the time spent searching across multiple websites and social media channels. For vendors, it offers clearer enquiries and improved visibility.
Despite the size of the Czech wedding industry, a single comprehensive Czech-focused planning platform has largely been missing from the market. Many couples still rely on a combination of Instagram inspiration, Facebook groups, spreadsheets, and multiple supplier directories.
Svatbík is betting that couples increasingly want one central place to manage both discovery and planning — and that vendors want a more organised and transparent way to connect with future clients.
