To mark its 10th anniversary, Metronome Prague 2026 is presenting itself as bigger and more diverse than ever before. With Sting, Nick Cave and an expanded cultural and gastronomic programme, the organisers want to demonstrate how the festival has developed into a firmly established part of the Czech festival scene over recent years.
Metronome Prague is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year with a particularly extensive anniversary programme. To mark the occasion, Sting and Nick Cave — two international artists who have previously performed at the festival — will return to Prague.
At a press conference held during the week at SmetanaQ, festival founder David Gaydečka described the return of the two world stars as special recognition for the festival. At the same time, he pointed to the strengthened cooperation with Live Nation, which will allow visitors to experience significantly more this year than in previous editions.

Alongside international headliners, Metronome Prague 2026 also aims to give more space to the current young music scene. The opening of the festival will focus particularly on modern pop and alternative acts such as Tom Odell, Lykke Li, JADE and Cobrah. According to the organisers, supporting new musical discoveries has long been one of the festival’s key priorities.
As an example, the organisers pointed to British singer RAYE, who performed at the festival several years ago as a newcomer and recently returned to Prague as an international star with a sold-out show at the O2 Arena.

Several young Czech artists also performed at the press conference, including Anděl Award winner Marie April as well as Dominik Gehringer, Mat 213 and Marcell. Among the acts they said they were most looking forward to at this year’s festival were Balu Brigada, KennyHoopla, Cobrah and Razorlight.
The organisers also emphasised that Metronome Prague is no longer just a music festival, but has developed into a broader cultural event. In addition to concerts, the programme will once again include an open-air art exhibition featuring contemporary art. New this year is also the FRESH Festival zone with an expanded gastronomic offering.

The festival site at Letňany Airport will open on Friday, 19 June, from 1 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm. Visitors can expect a full-day music programme featuring international and Czech artists, art exhibitions, food and drink offerings, as well as new relaxation and lounge areas.
With its 10th anniversary edition, the organisers mainly want to showcase how Metronome Prague has evolved over recent years — from a new Prague music festival into an established fixture of the Czech festival scene.
Tickets for Metronome Prague 2026 are available at Live Nation Czech Republic and Metronome Prague.
