Museums, galleries and cultural centres across Prague will open their doors until late at night next Saturday. Many institutions will offer free admission or special programmes for visitors of all ages.

On Saturday, 13 June 2026, the 19th edition of Prague Museum Night (Pražská muzejní noc) will take place. Around 50 museums, galleries and other cultural institutions in the Czech capital will participate in the event and open their doors from 7:00 pm to midnight. Some venues will begin their programmes earlier in the afternoon. Admission will be free at many locations or available for a symbolic fee.

A central event hub will be the Prague City Museum at Florenc. An outdoor festival featuring music, workshops and food and drink will begin there at 4:00 pm. The museum buildings themselves will open to visitors at 6:00 pm.

The National Museum of Agriculture will also take part with a special hands-on programme. Under the theme “Experience Life on a Farm First-Hand”, visitors will be able to try traditional activities such as butter churning. The programme will run from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with admission costing a symbolic 50 CZK.

The Museum of Literature is preparing special guided tours and a family game for Museum Night. These activities will be available from 6:00 pm until midnight.

Other participating institutions include Kunsthalle Praha, the Musoleum of David Černý, the Visitor Centre of the Czech National Bank, the Prague Municipal Library and the Ďáblice Observatory.

Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) will provide extended operating hours on selected routes and additional transport connections. As in previous years, the Public Transport Museum in Střešovice will also take part with a special evening programme.

Prague Museum Night has long been one of the city's most popular cultural events, offering visitors the opportunity to experience numerous institutions in a unique atmosphere outside regular opening hours.

The full programme, a map of all participating venues and up-to-date transport information are available on the official website at www.prazskamuzejninoc.cz.
